Hon. Felix Upav (PhD), Special Adviser to the Governor of Nasarawa State on Education, has formally accepted his appointment as a member of the Nasarawa State Executive Council, expressing profound gratitude to Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for the confidence reposed in him.
In a statement issued by Comrade Amo Isaac, Acting Head of Media and Strategic Communication in the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Upav described the appointment as both an honour and a call to greater service, pledging to contribute meaningfully to the development of Nasarawa State.
He thanked Governor Sule for considering him worthy of the responsibility, noting that public office demands accountability, sacrifice, hard work, humility, and measurable results.
According to him, the appointment has strengthened his resolve to support the administration’s policies and programmes aimed at improving the lives and well-being of the people of Nasarawa State.
Upav reaffirmed his loyalty to the state government and pledged to bring his experience, knowledge, and energy to bear in the discharge of his responsibilities while embracing collaboration and constructive engagement with stakeholders.
The education adviser also emphasized the importance of education as a critical investment in the future of the state, promising to support initiatives that will strengthen the education sector, improve learning outcomes, promote human capital development, empower young people, and create opportunities for future generations.
He further expressed appreciation to his family, friends, political associates, colleagues, supporters, and well-wishers for their unwavering prayers and encouragement throughout his journey.
Addressing the people of Nasarawa State, Upav assured them that he would approach the new assignment with humility, dedication, and a strong sense of duty, while remaining committed to policies and programmes that prioritize the welfare and aspirations of the citizens.
He concluded by once again thanking Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for the opportunity to serve and prayed for God’s continued wisdom, strength, good health, and guidance for the governor as he leads the state toward greater prosperity, unity, and progress.
