Regina Daniels Says She’s No Longer Interested in Marriage After Split From Ned Nwoko

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she is no longer interested in marriage following her controversial separation from her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress, however, said she still hopes to have more children in the future, insisting that she must have a daughter.
Daniels made the disclosure during a recent livestream with popular TikToker, Jarvis, where she opened up about her personal life and future plans.
According to the actress, she strongly desires a daughter because she believes female children remain more emotionally connected to their parents, especially in old age.
“I want to have six children and I have two already, two boys. It’s so crazy but for some reason I have checked my mind out from getting married. But I am going to have a girl and I must have a girl,” she said.
“Men will grow, get married and focus more on building family. But for women she will always remember home,” she added.
Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko got married in 2019, a union that sparked widespread public debate due to the over 40-year age difference between the actress, who was 19 at the time, and the billionaire politician.
The couple share two sons together.
Their marriage later came under intense public scrutiny in late 2025 after allegations surfaced from Nwoko claiming that the actress was battling drug and alcohol abuse and required rehabilitation.
Daniels swiftly denied the allegations and accused the senator of manipulation, psychological control and abuse.
Shortly after the controversy, the actress reportedly left the marriage and moved into her own residence.
Since then, Regina Daniels has consistently maintained publicly that she is single.
