All Progressives Congress, APC, 2027 Benue State Governorship aspirant, Honorable Terwase Orbunde was successfully screened after the submission of his nomination forms.

The screening was done at the Kaduna State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja on Saturday, 9th May, 2026 by the screening committee set up by the APC National Working Committee.
Asked to introduce himself, Honorable Orbunde listed his political pedigree as a former local government chairman, member of the House of Representatives, Special Adviser to the Senate President and State party executive.
He stated that he also served as Chief of Staff to the Benue State Governor during which time he was a member of both the State Executive and Security Councils.
Obviously impressed with his cognate experience to be Governor, the committee interacted with him for a few minutes and allowed him to leave.
