GROUP URGES OBI-KWANKWASO TICKET: ‘2027 MUST BE DIFFERENT’
The OK-A NEW Nigeria Group and NNPP Deputy National Treasurer Chibuisi Mba on Tuesday urged Nigerians to support a Peter Obi-Rabiu Kwankwaso alliance in 2027, saying the country needs proven leadership to tackle hunger, insecurity and waning hope.
Mba said the partnership represents “prudence meets purpose” and “youthful energy meets seasoned execution.” He cited Obi’s fiscal record in Anambra State and Kwankwaso’s large-scale education programs in Kano as evidence of results.
“One man kept Anambra’s books clean. The other turned Kano into a classroom,” Mba said. “Together, they don’t just talk about accountability and innovation. They’ve lived it.”
He criticized politics driven by ethnicity and excuses, and pointed to the emigration of skilled Nigerians as a sign of lost faith. “2027 cannot be another argument about who to blame. It has to be our first real conversation about what to build,” he said.
Mba, who convenes OK-A New Nigeria Group, said competence and character must “sit at the same table” to deliver transparent budgets and equal opportunity. “Obi and Kwankwaso are not perfect men. But they are proven men,” he said. The group asked supporters to contact 07037233448 via WhatsApp.
