Governor Uba Sani has revealed that he inherited a state rich in potential but weighed down by significant security concerns, infrastructure deficits, and poor social indicators requiring urgent intervention.
The Governor made this known while addressing senior government officials at a high-level workshop organised by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations as part of the ongoing Nigeria Public Relations Week 2026 in Kaduna.
According to Governor Sani, Kaduna State possesses “immense opportunities for growth and development,” but years of insecurity and infrastructural neglect have slowed its progress and impacted the well-being of residents.
He noted that his administration is focused on tackling these challenges head-on through strategic reforms, investments in infrastructure, and policies aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens.
The workshop, which brought together top government functionaries, was aimed at strengthening communication strategies within public institutions and enhancing effective governance through improved public relations.
Governor Sani emphasized the importance of collaboration, transparency, and effective communication in rebuilding public trust and driving sustainable development across the state.
The Nigeria Public Relations Week, themed around strengthening institutional communication, continues to serve as a platform for dialogue among policymakers, communication experts, and public sector leaders.
