ADC Warns Bolaji Abdullahi Over Unauthorized Use of Party Name and Logo

The Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Working Committee (NWC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) have cautioned Mr. Bolaji Abdullahi against issuing press statements or making public communications on behalf of the party.

The party leadership stated that any further unauthorized use of the ADC’s name or logo could result in legal action. In a statement signed by National Chairman Nafi’u Bala Gombe and BoT Secretary Rufus Ikanmi, the party said Abdullahi must formally register at his political ward in Kwara State if he wishes to join the ADC.

The ADC also warned that any transactions, including loans, withdrawals, or transfers from the party’s accounts by unauthorized individuals, would be treated as financial misconduct and economic sabotage.

The BoT and NWC affirmed that the party will take all necessary measures to safeguard its identity and interests, and will pursue legal remedies if the alleged actions continue.

The statement further emphasized: “The African Democratic Congress is open to all Nigerians, and membership is available through the proper registration process. A formal notice has been issued to all Deposit Money Banks and other financial institutions in Nigeria instructing them to halt any transactions or activities involving party accounts by individuals claiming to represent the ADC. Any unauthorized dealings will be treated as financial crimes and prosecuted under relevant laws.”
