All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship aspirant in Benue State, Honorable Terwase Orbunde has intensified his campaign for enhanced security for lives and property as well as good governance.
Orbunde, widely regarded as one of the leading contenders for the APC ticket, spoke at several meetings in his locality while participating in the just concluded ward and local Government congresses held across the State.
His presence at the grassroots political gatherings has further strengthened his connection with party faithful and stakeholders, many of whom see him as a strong and credible aspirant capable of leading the party to victory.
Addressing supporters during the congresses, Orbunde emphasized that his primary motivation for seeking the governorship is to confront the persistent security challenges facing Benue communities.
He stated that security concerns motivated his recent engagements during his recent trip to the United States of America stressing that no meaningful development can take place without peace and stability.
According to him, his administration, if elected, will prioritize strategic security reforms, collaboration with security agencies, and community-based approaches to ensure that lives and properties are adequately protected.
The former Chief of Staff to the Governor pledged to restore confidence among residents by implementing proactive policies aimed at tackling insecurity and strengthening local vigilance structures.
Beyond security, Orbunde also highlighted his broader vision for effective governance, promising transparency, accountability, and inclusive leadership that will foster economic growth, agricultural development, youth empowerment, and infrastructural renewal.
Political observers note that Orbunde stands a strong chance of clinching the APC governorship ticket, citing his growing grassroots support, extensive consultations, and firm stance on security as key advantages ahead of the primaries.
With momentum buildings towards party primaries, Honorable Orbunde’s message of security, stability, and better governance continues to resonate among party members, positioning him as a formidable aspirant in the race to become the next governor of Benue State.
