The Nigeria Police Academy is finalising preparations for its first-ever convocation ceremony (for Regular Courses 1 to 7).
At the same time, the Academy is also preparing to hold Course Night and Passing Out Parade (for Regular Course 7).
This was announced in a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Academy, DSP Umar Musa Isah, on behalf of the Commandant, AIG Patrick A. Atayero, on Tuesday.
Isah said the events, which he described as “a landmark occasion in the life of the Academy”, will hold on the grounds of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State.
“These historic events are taking place under the visionary leadership of the 22nd Indigenous Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, PhD, whose unwavering commitment to police reform, training excellence, and officer welfare continues to redefine professionalism within the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
According to him, the schedule of events is as follows:
– Convocation Ceremony (Regular Courses 1–7): Thursday, 20th November 2025
– Course Night (Regular Course 7): Friday, 21st November 2025
– Passing Out Parade (Regular Course 7): Saturday, 22nd November 2025
“The Commandant extends a warm invitation to all invited guests, families, stakeholders, and the general public to attend and witness this momentous celebration. It marks a major milestone in the journey of the Academy and its cadets, a blend of academic excellence and disciplined police training,” he said.
