The Edo APC Diaspora EXCO Group joins the nation in celebrating the 65th birthday of Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We honour a woman whose life reflects service, compassion, and an uncommon love for the people, young and old alike. Her years as a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic were marked by purposeful legislation, youth empowerment, and initiatives that strengthened women’s voices in national life. That elevation in public service prepared her for her current role, where she continues to provide motherly guidance and support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in piloting the affairs of our great nation.
Through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), the First Lady has transformed lives with empowerment programmes, food outreaches, and grants to women, students, persons with disabilities, and the elderly. She has invested heavily in education by awarding scholarships, providing laptops to undergraduates, and promoting the education and dignity of the girl-child. Her love for humanity is further seen in her interventions in disaster relief, health campaigns, and her advocacy for environmental sustainability.
Her Excellency’s selfless dedication demonstrates that leadership is not only about position but also about compassion and impact. She has consistently shown that the strength of a nation lies in lifting its most vulnerable, and in building bridges across generations.
