Panic gripped the Udei community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday following an attempted attack by suspected herdsmen, which reportedly claimed the lives of three police officers.
According to eyewitness accounts, the attackers ambushed the officers during the assault and allegedly made away with their rifles. The sudden attack sent shockwaves through the community, leaving residents in fear and confusion.
