President Bola Tinubu has commended Nigerian tech innovator Oluwatobi Oyinlola for designing what is now hailed as the world’s smallest GPS tracking device prototype, with a compact size of just 22.93 by 11.92 millimetres.
The President, in a statement posted via his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, celebrated Oyinlola’s groundbreaking achievement, emphasizing its transformative potential across numerous industries and daily applications.
“A Nigerian, Oluwatobi Oyinlola, has just developed the world’s smallest GPS tracking device prototype measuring 22.93 x 11.92 mm, with endless possibilities for use in various industries and spheres of life,” the President stated.
Tinubu further praised Oyinlola as a shining example of Nigerian ingenuity, adding, “Congratulations, Oluwatobi, on this feat. You have just shown the world that Nigerian youth can!”
