IGP Advises Communities: Refrain from Offering Unmanageable Loans to Police Officers

Inspector General of Police, Dr. Kayode Egbetokun, has issued a cautionary advisory to host communities, urging them to avoid extending substantial loans to police officers that may be challenging to repay.

Represented by Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, the IGP emphasized the importance of financial prudence in community-police relations.

The newly established divisional headquarters, a pioneering facility in the area, was generously donated by Dr. Peter Ali, a native of the community.

Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, represented by Deputy Governor Joel Oyibo, lauded the initiative and called for continued collaboration between the community and law enforcement.
