Pastor Adeboye and Wife Facilitate Inauguration of State-of-the-Art Dialysis Centre in Ekiti

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, on Monday inaugurated a state-of-the-art dialysis Centre at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, aimed at improving kidney treatment and the health status of local residents. The centre, equipped by Pastor Enoch and Folu Adeboye’s His Love Foundation, underscores the impactful collaboration between faith-based organizations and the government, with the Governor praising the church’s role in nation-building.

Accompanied by his wife, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, the Governor highlighted how the facility would alleviate the strain on patients who previously had to travel far for kidney treatment. He noted the Centre’s transformation, which included new dialysis machines, chairs, a water treatment unit, and a 50KVA generator. He expressed his deep gratitude to Pastor Enoch and Folu Adeboye, His Love Foundation, and RCCG Charity Arm for their generosity.

The Governor emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “This newly renovated and fully equipped facility is a testament to what we can achieve when government and faith-based organizations work together in pursuit of a common good.” He further appreciated the Adeboyes for their unwavering service to humanity.

Governor Oyebanji’s wife, Dr. Olayemi, recalled how the idea of the dialysis centre emerged from a visit by RCCG women to her office two years ago. She expressed gratitude to the Adeboyes for their support.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, commended the facility as a vital opportunity for dialysis patients and praised the Governor for his continued support for healthcare improvements. Prof. Kolawole Olabanji, the Chief Medical Director, lauded the Governor’s contributions to the hospital’s development. Pastor Johnson Odesola, speaking on behalf of Pastor Adeboye, expressed the hope that the Centre would boost healthcare delivery in Ekiti.
