Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, has reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to grassroots development as a cornerstone for sustainable progress under Governor Monday Okpebholo’s leadership.
Idahosa made this known on Tuesday while receiving members of the Association of Local Government Secretaries, Edo State Chapter, in Benin. The statement, released by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, emphasized that the government will remain steadfast in delivering on its campaign promises, with a strong focus on transforming rural communities across all 18 local government areas.
“Grassroots development is non-negotiable for Governor Okpebholo,” Idahosa declared. “I encourage you to give unwavering support to your council chairmen and align with the administration’s S.H.I.N.E. agenda to actualize our vision for the state.”
Speaking on behalf of the secretaries, Pastor Eromosele Oigbochie expressed renewed commitment to the administration, particularly following the governor’s recent victory at the tribunal. He highlighted the government’s achievements, such as the groundbreaking construction of a flyover at Ramat Park—an initiative praised as a historic milestone since the state’s inception.
Oigbochie assured the administration of their continued loyalty and collaboration to ensure the Okpebholo-led government achieves lasting transformation and positions Edo State for greater heights.
