Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central, has launched an empowerment program for his constituents, providing two tractors for each local government area to support farmers. This initiative aims to boost agricultural production and improve the livelihoods of farmers in the region.
The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, who represented the Senate President at the event, was impressed by Senator Mustapha’s efforts and contributed 200 sewing machines to support his colleague’s empowerment program. Senator Jibrin praised Senator Mustapha’s passion for Kwara, stating that he is one of the senators they are proud of in the Senate.
This empowerment program is part of Senator Mustapha’s efforts to support his constituents, particularly farmers, in Kwara Central. Previously, he had distributed 3,500 tons of fertilizer and 1,000 pumping machines to smallholder farmers in the region.
Senator Mustapha’s initiatives demonstrate his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents and contributing to the development of Kwara State.
