Nigeria’s First Lady Commissions General Tunde Idiagbon Flyover in Kwara

In a significant milestone for Kwara State, Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, commissioned the General Tunde Idiagbon flyover in Ilorin, the state capital, today. The flyover, constructed by the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is expected to greatly ease traffic congestion and boost the state’s economy.

Located in a strategic area within Ilorin, the flyover is a major infrastructure project aimed at improving traffic flow and reducing travel time. The project is a testament to the state government’s commitment to developing critical infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

The General Tunde Idiagbon flyover has been certified as structurally sound by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). The certification follows a thorough inspection of the project by COREN experts, who verified the quality of materials and workmanship.

With the commissioning of the flyover, residents and commuters can expect improved traffic management and reduced congestion in the area. The project is also expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, as it will facilitate easier movement of goods and people.
