He said, “Lionel Messi is the greatest player of all time, without any doubt.” While acknowledging Ronaldo’s achievements, Rodri pointed out the difference in their natural abilities, asserting that those who have played against both of them can easily tell the distinction.
When comparing the challenges of defending against Messi and Ronaldo, Rodri explained that Cristiano’s threat was mainly confined to the box, where he was “lethal.” However, facing Messi was a different experience altogether, as he was a danger “everywhere on the pitch.”
