Countdown to Handover: Obaseki's Education Commissioner, Joan Oviawe Accused of Last Minute Looting

I am using this media to bring the attention of the state security agencies, the Edo State House Of Assembly, EDHA, and the Deputy Governor of Edo state. Rt. Hon. Philip shaib to be aware of the system used to loot money from newly intake students last session is about to repeat itself.

A lot of cohesively looting in the Education Ministry is about to manifest through the Circular passed by the Commissioner of Education.
As the time hastening and shorting for all outgoings Commissioners under Godwin Obaseki administration
The Dishonourable and horrible Commissioner of Education, JOAN OVIAWE, is at it again. In the last session, students were asked to pay money for new uniforms and sports wears. But she mandated some school principals to pay part of the money of about 20 million into an account. As a result of such an unhealthy decisions, many students, especially new intake, were not giving uniform throughout the last session. Just yesterday evening, 10th Oct 2024, an incomprehensive circular was served to all principals to collect money from students and pay all uniform money collected into a Central account.
Before now, she mandated principals to use part of the session school fee they collected from students to pay for last year’s uniform.
Now, if this money is paid into the central account according to the instructions on this circular, how will the tailors who took loans to provide these uniforms for students get his/ her refunds of the money?
This is another systematic process of looting to cause debts and to empty the state treasury, and she must be stopped.

This information must be extended to parents, APC Chairman, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, and the Governor & Deputy elect.

The commissioner of education. HON. JOAN OVIAWE should be placed on watch.
