Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, will welcome Vice President Kashim Shettima to the state tomorrow, Tuesday, Today 27th August , 2024, for a one-day state visit.
The Vice President is expected to arrive in Makurdi, the state capital, around 10 am to commission two significant projects: the Benue Fashion Hub and the Benue Printing House, both located in the state capital.
This visit follows Shettima’s previous visit to the state for the inauguration of the Expanded National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Clinics in Makurdi, where he announced President Ahmed Tinubu’s plan to establish a world-class fashion hub in Benue State. The hub aims to create jobs and provide accessible capital to Nigerians, acknowledging the industrious spirit of the Benue people.
Governor Alia has fulfilled his commitment to providing land and infrastructure for the hub, leading to the Vice President’s visit to commission the projects.
The Governor invites the public, business community, stakeholders, and party faithful to join him in welcoming the Vice President to the state.
