The immediate-past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has expressed nonchalance towards the ongoing probe of his administration by the state House of Assembly, doubting its success.
At a Sallah gathering with associates, El-Rufai advised them to refrain from engaging in a war of words with the governor’s aide, predicting that his successor, Sani, will eventually fall like candy.
“Support the governor and his cabinet with prayers… Don’t feel hurt… When he’s done prancing, he’ll fall off like candy [in a kid’s hand],” he said.
This marks El-Rufai’s first public comment since the crisis with his successor began.
