The 137 schoolchildren who were recently abducted from Kuriga village in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State have finally been reunited with their families. The relieved and emotional children arrived at the Government House in Kaduna on Sunday, amidst tight security.
At approximately 2:09 p.m., the schoolchildren, who had been held captive for a harrowing period, were brought to Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House. The children were transported in five buses from the 1 Division Nigerian Army Headquarters in Kaduna. The intense security surrounding their return aimed to ensure their safety and prevent any further danger to their lives.
