It was gathered by Hobnob News reports that there was tension in some sections of Abia State on Wednesday evening, following the sudden sealing off of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat at Finbarrs road Umuahia.
A visit to the site showed that the secretariat was sealed off by the Umuahia Capital Development Authority (UCDA).
It was gathered by Hobnob News reports that the secretariat was sealed off as it was discovered that the property was allegedly acquired by the immediate past administration of the PDP using the Abia State government fund.
It was also revealed that the past PDP administration allegedly bought the property from it’s original owner through the Abia State Ministry of Lands and Housing.The present administration is allegedly seeking to recover the property said to have been purchased using government money.
