President Bola Tinubu Signs 2024 Appropriation Bill Worth N28.78 Trillion into Law

 

President Bola Tinubu has officially signed the 2024 Appropriation Bill into law, totaling N28.78 trillion. This significant event took place in the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, with several senior government officials in attendance.

President Tinubu arrived at his office at exactly 2 pm after returning from the airport. As he headed towards the brief budget signing ceremony, he was surrounded by senior government officials, signaling the importance of this momentous occasion.

Notable personalities present at the budget signing included Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abbas. Their presence underscored the cooperation between the executive and legislative branches in passing this crucial bill.

Furthermore, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, joined the President for the signing. Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser (NSA), also attended the event.

Additionally, Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, and the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, were present to witness this historic moment. Senator Olamilekan Adeola, the Chairman of the Senate Appropriation Committee, was also among the attendees.
