As we approach the upcoming elections, I would like to present my candidature for the position of the next governor of our beloved state. I understand that our state requires a leader who will continue to promote and uphold democratic values, and one who can deliver better dividends of democracy to the good people of Edo State.
I am confident that, given the opportunity to serve, I will bring about positive change to our dear state. My vision is to create a prosperous and peaceful Edo, where everyone has equal access to opportunities that enable growth and development. My manifesto highlights the following:
1. Job Creation: I will work tirelessly with my team to create more job opportunities in the state, especially for our teeming youth. Our administration will attract more investors and support Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) to create employment.
2. Quality Education: I believe that quality education is key to unlocking the full potential of our citizens. Hence, I will focus on providing quality education by investing in infrastructure, training of teachers and providing enabling environment for students to excel.
3. Healthcare delivery: Our healthcare system requires urgent intervention. I will work with experts to upgrade our health facilities, provide adequate equipment and personnel to ensure that we have an efficient healthcare system in Edo State.
4. Infrastructural Development: My team and I will focus on providing quality infrastructure that can catalyse socio-economic development. We will develop and maintain roads, bridges, and other facilities that make life better for the people of Edo State.
5. Security: Edo state must be secured for everyone. To achieve a safe environment for all, our administration will partner with security agencies within and outside the state to secure lives and properties.
I see Edo State as a land of great potentials and believe that we can achieve greatness together. As a leader, I am committed to serving the people of Edo State. My administration promises to be transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of the people.
