A senior member of the Hamas group, Ayman Nofal has been killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip.

The Hamas terror group in a statement said Nofal, a member of the terror group’s General Military Council and the head of its military wing’s Central Gaza Brigade, was killed in a strike in the Bureij refugee camp.

The latest killing is a fallout of Israeli’s counter attack on Gaza after the Hamas launched an offensive weeks ago.

The Israel Defense Forces has not yet released a statement on Nofal’s killing.
