The member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency, Hon Amobi Ogah (Labour Party) has been sacked by the National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Umuahia.
The Tribunal in its judgement declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha as the duly elected representative from the zone.
The court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to withdraw the certificate of return given to Ogah and issue it to Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha.
The APC candidate is the current Minister of State for Labour and Employment.
