Some youths have hit the streets of Owerri, the Imo State capital to register their displeasure at the alleged moves of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi to impose a candidate on the state.
The protesters with their placards are alleging that Obi, a former governor of Anambra State is trying to force an unpopular candidate on LP in Imo state.
They wondered why Obi who is saying he wants to fight “godfatherism” wants to be a godfather himself.
The gubernatorial election in Imo State is expected to hold on the 11th of November 2023.
