The development coming after the national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu was forced to resign also led Omisore to also step down.
Meanwhile, the National Caucus and National Executive, NEC meetings of the party earlier scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday have now been postponed indefinitely.
Hobnob News reports that Omisore had fixed the meetings reportedly under pressure from the Adamu Must Go elements with the main agenda to axe Adamu.
