In a bid to transform logistics services across the country and Africa at large, a tech startup, Ruditech Limited, has launched a mobile logistics application, Delivery Metropolis, in order to catch up with exigencies in the movement of goods and services.
Speaking with journalists on Saturday at the virtual launch of the mobile application, the product developer, Ndidiamaka Madubuike, disclosed that the Delivery Metropolis app, as an on-demand logistics platform, is expected to help businesses and individuals with fast deliveries.
According to her, the application is hassle-free and it offers services within and across states as well as international deliveries.
Speaking on the creation of the application, Madubuike said, “I wanted a name that was relatable, something that people could remember easily, which is why I came up with the name Delivery Metropolis.
“My target audience for delivery is very vast, with almost no limit as to the needs of the services, from individuals to offline and online sellers and buyers to offices, mostly youths and young adults.
“The application is available for download on Apple and Google Play stores.
“With delivery metropolis, users are expected to enjoy Logistics/Delivery hailing service, Same-Day delivery, and Last Mile Delivery Service, among others.”
While addressing the acceptability of the application amidst competition in the populace, the self-taught developer projects 1,000,000 downloads/subscribers and a daily active user of at least 4000 in five years, owing to the uniqueness of the service in Africa and Europe and how its insurance package works for riders and end users.
The launch had in attendance brand strategists, ICT experts, software and web developers across different platforms, as well as members of the Ruditech and Delivery Metropolis teams.
