The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Friday formally received the presidential nomination forms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for the 2027 general election.
The nomination forms were presented at the Continental Hotel in Abuja by the President’s Special Adviser on Political and Other Matters, Hon. Ibrahim Masari, in a ceremony attended by senior party leaders and government officials.
The event attracted prominent APC stakeholders, including the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Also present were the governors of Yobe, Mai Mala Buni; Kebbi, Nasir Idris; Kano, Abba Kabir Yusuf; Kaduna, Uba Sani; Borno, Babagana Zulum; and Adamawa, Ahmadu Fintiri, alongside other party faithful.
The presentation of the nomination forms marks another significant step in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 general election, as the ruling party begins to consolidate support for the re-election bid of President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima.
