KWANKWASO JOINS ADC, ATIKU WELCOMES HIM WITH OPEN ARMS
Abuja, Nigeria – Former Kano State Governor, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC), receiving a warm welcome from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other top politicians at his Maitama residence in Abuja today.
Kwankwaso, who recently defected from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), was accompanied by notable politicians including Kashim Imam, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Dino Melaye, and Adamu Maina Waziri, as Atiku Abubakar led a high-powered entourage to show solidarity.
Speaking on the occasion, Atiku Abubakar praised Kwankwaso’s decision, saying, “When men of conviction come together, power trembles,” sparking speculation of a possible alliance with Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi for the 2027 elections.
