Tinubu Approves Postings of 65 Ambassadors to Key Global Missions

In a significant move, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the postings of 31 career and 34 non-career ambassadors to various countries and the United Nations. The Senate had confirmed the ambassadors-designate last December.

The list includes notable appointments such as Reno Omokri as Ambassador to Mexico, Femi Fani Kayode to Germany, and Senator Jimoh Ibrahim as UN Permanent Representative.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received agrément from the UK for Ambassador Aminu Dalhatu and from France for Ambassador Ayo Oke. The induction programme for the ambassadors-designate is set to commence soon.
