The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Director-General, Brigadier General Y.D. Ahmed, has appealed for community assistance in locating a missing Corps Member, Yahaya Farouk. Farouk, who is serving in Ikuru town, Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, has been missing for several days .
According to reports, Farouk’s last appearance was at a Chinese company in the community. The NYSC DG has urged the youths and elders of the community to assist security agencies in the search for the missing corps member .
The Rivers State Police Command has also arrested four suspects in connection with Farouk’s disappearance.The police are working tirelessly to uncover the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
General Ahmed emphasized the importance of collective efforts in ensuring the safe return of Farouk. He also reiterated his administration’s commitment to appealing for adequate security and welfare of corps members at all times .
The search for Yahaya Farouk is ongoing, with the community and security agencies working together to ensure his safe return.
