In celebration of the 20th Guinness World Records Day, the world’s tallest and shortest women met for the first time in London. Jyoti Amge, the shortest woman, and Rumeysa Gelgi, the tallest woman, came together for a unique and memorable encounter.
The two women celebrated their historic meeting with a luxurious afternoon tea at The Savoy Hotel, located in the heart of London. This special event marked a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the two record-holders to meet and share their experiences.
Jyoti Amge, from India, holds the record for the shortest living woman, standing at 62.8 cm (24.7 in). Rumeysa Gelgi, from Turkey, holds the record for the tallest living woman, standing at 251 cm (8 ft 2.8 in).
