Twenty players took part in the Super Eagles’ training session at the Charlton Athletic Stadium on Monday night as the team concluded preparations for their Unity Cup semi-final encounter against Zimbabwe, Nova news reports.

Former Golden Eaglets captain, Samson Tijani, arrived camp in time to participate in the session.

However, captain Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, Akor Adams, Emmanuel Fernandez and Raphael Onyedika are still being expected in London ahead of the game.

Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle is expected to field a largely experimental side against the Warriors due to the absence of several top stars.

New faces including Femi Azeez, Owen Oseni and Rafiu Durosinmi are likely to make their debut appearances for the three-time African champions against Kaitano Tembo’s side.

The semi-final encounter is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. Nigeria time.

The winner of the tie will face either Jamaica or India in the final on Saturday.
