Former APC Governorship Aspirant, Dr. Terwase Byuan Defects to Labour Party in Benue

A former governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), , has officially resigned from the ruling party and joined the in Benue State.

The development was announced on Friday by the party leadership, which described Dr. Byuan’s defection as a major boost to the Labour Party’s growing political movement in the state ahead of future political engagements.

Dr. Byuan, who until recently served as the Executive Director of Finance at the under the administration of , was warmly received by party stakeholders and supporters.

Welcoming the former APC chieftain into the party, the “Chief Labourer” of Benue State expressed excitement over the move, describing Dr. Byuan as an experienced leader whose commitment to public service would further strengthen the Labour Party in the state.
