The development comes despite earlier denials surrounding their planned defection. According to an invitation circulated to journalists via the NDC Media WhatsApp Group, the official declaration ceremony is scheduled to hold by 2:00 p.m. in .
Both leaders are expected to be received by the National Leader of the NDC and former Governor of Bayelsa State, , alongside the party’s National Chairman, , and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC).
