The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held on Thursday, April 16.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Board disclosed that a total of 632,788 results are now accessible to candidates across the country.
The statement, signed by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, outlined the procedure for checking results. Candidates are required to send “UTMERESULT” via SMS to either 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number they registered with for the examination.
JAMB reiterated that the SMS method remains the official and approved channel for accessing UTME results, urging candidates to follow the instructions carefully to avoid errors.
The Board also assured candidates of its commitment to transparency and efficiency in the conduct and processing of the examination results.
