Pastor Jerry Eze: A Life of Faith, Service, and Philanthropy
Pastor Jerry Eze, a renowned Nigerian Pentecostal pastor, author, and global prayer leader, was born on August 22, 1982, in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. He grew up in a humble Christian home, and his strong faith was instilled in him by his single mother.
Jerry attended Ibeku High School, Umuahia, and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations from Abia State University. He also holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
Jerry started his ministry in 2009 at All Saints Chapel, Abia State University. In 2013, he founded Streams of Joy International, a church with over 26 branches across Nigeria, Canada, the US, and the UK. He’s also the convener of NSPPD (New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations), a daily online prayer platform with millions of global participants.
Recently, Pastor Jerry Eze marked his 42nd birthday with a remarkable philanthropic gesture, building 18 houses for widows across Nigeria and awarding ₦100m business grants to over 100 young entrepreneurs. This initiative has been widely praised, with many describing it as a divine intervention in the lives of the beneficiaries.
Pastor Eze’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities and fostering economic empowerment has cemented his reputation as a man of compassion and vision. He’s been nominated amongst the top 100 South East Emerging leaders and entrepreneurs.
Jerry is married to Pastor Eno Jerry, and they have two children, Samara and Jerry. He’s known for his modest lifestyle, emphasizing service, humility, and spiritual growth.
