Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of 32 senior civil servants as Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service after their confirmation.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
In the same development, the governor also confirmed the appointment of a new Statistician-General for the state and an Auditor-General for Local Governments.
Those appointed as Permanent Secretaries include Mrs Tayo Ogundare, Mrs Morayo Bayo-Philip, Adeyemi Sule, Mrs Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi, Olanrewaju Abiodun, Tope Lebile, Stephen Aworere, Omotayo Akeju, Olufemi Moyinolorun, Olakunle Ajibade, Mrs Oluwakemi Akinyemi, and Bamidele Daisi.
Others are Akinluyi Omotola, Olumide Kinga, Mrs Ope Adetoye, Olusiji Olatunji, Mrs Oluseyi Odusola, Mrs Funke Adelayi, Dr Akindele Ige, Olanrewaju Akarakiri, Dr (Mrs) Abike Ilawole, Tpl Abimbola Tofowomo, Kolawole Kayode, Dr Peter Akingbade, Ayodeji Ogudare, Adeduro Akinbola, Ibidapo Ojo, Olusegun Orisabinone, Surveyor Idowu Owolabi, Adeoye O. Atibioke, Mrs Toyin Awotoye, and Ayodeji Ayeku.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also confirmed Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General and Dr Charles Tunde Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments, subject to clearance by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
According to the statement, all appointments take effect from February 1, 2026, while the date for the swearing-in ceremony will be announced later.
