Famous Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has made a public confession about his personal life, declaring that he has put an end to impregnating women indiscriminately.
The award-winning singer made the statement in Benin City during the MC EdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and Legends performance, moments before he took to the stage.
Addressing the audience, 2Baba—who is widely known for having children with multiple women outside his marriage—said he now feels compelled to openly clarify the issue wherever he goes.
“But see, I get confession. I dey make this confession everywhere I go now to set the record straight. I don stop to dey do that kind of thing, I don stop to dey give belle anyhow. I swear, ask anybody now, they will tell you that I’m innocent,” the artist said in a mix of English and Pidgin.
The statement drew reactions from the crowd, with many responding with cheers and laughter. While the singer did not go into further details, his remarks appeared to signal a change in personal conduct and a desire to address long-standing public perceptions about his private life.
2Baba remains one of Nigeria’s most influential musicians, with a career spanning over two decades and a reputation for both musical excellence and headline-making personal controversies.
