The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed its national convention for Wednesday, March 25 to Saturday, March 28, 2026.

The party released a comprehensive timetable on Saturday outlining its ward, local government, state and zonal congresses for the 2025/2026 cycle, all of which will culminate in the national convention.

The timetable, signed by APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, states that the exercise is in accordance with Articles 11 and 17 of the party’s constitution and is designed to elect party officials at all levels.

Activities began with the membership e-registration exercise, which started on December 1, 2025 and will end on January 30, 2026. Notices for congresses will be issued to state chapters and the Federal Capital Territory on February 2, 2026.

Forms for ward and local government congresses will be sold and submitted between February 4 and 9. Screening committees for ward and LGA positions will be inaugurated on February 10, with aspirants screened from February 11 to 13. Ward congresses are scheduled for February 18, while related appeals will be considered on February 19.

Local government congresses, including the election of three delegates—at least one of them female—to the national convention, will hold on February 20, with appeals fixed for February 21.

At the state level, forms for state executive offices will be available from February 23 to 27, 2026. Screening and appeals will take place towards the end of February and early March, while state congresses are slated for Saturday, March 7. Appeals from the state congresses will be heard between March 9 and 11.

Zonal activities, including the sale and submission of forms for zonal offices and the national convention, will run from March 12 to 17. Zonal congress committees will be inaugurated on March 18, followed by the screening of aspirants on March 19 and 20.

Zonal congresses across the six geopolitical zones will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The designated centres are Ibadan for the South West, Enugu for the South East, Rivers/Cross River for the South South, Kaduna for the North West, Gombe/Bauchi for the North East, and Nasarawa for the North Central. Appeals from zonal congresses will be heard on March 23.

The process will conclude with the APC National Convention scheduled for March 25 to 28, 2026.
