DSS Sacks 115 Personnel, Warns Public Against Impostors

The Department of State Services (DSS) has dismissed 115 of its personnel as part of internal restructuring efforts, according to a statement released on Tuesday through its official website and social media platforms.

The DSS explained that the move is in line with ongoing reforms within the agency. It also cautioned members of the public against engaging with any of the dismissed officers, warning that some have continued to falsely present themselves as active DSS operatives.

The statement read: “As part of the Service’s continuous reforms, 115 personnel have been dismissed over time. Beyond previous warnings concerning Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, the Service has observed that some of these individuals are still impersonating DSS staff and engaging in fraudulent activities.

“The public is advised to avoid any form of official or personal dealings with these former employees. For transparency, the full list of dismissed personnel is available on the Service’s official website at www.dss.gov.ng.”
