The Round of 16 fixtures for the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup have been confirmed following the conclusion of the group stage matches played in the early hours of Monday morning.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles secured their spot in the knockout stage after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Colombia in their final group match. The result saw Aliyu Zubairu’s men finish the group phase with four points from three games — enough to advance to the Round of 16.
Elsewhere, Norway also booked their place in the last-16 after sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Saudi Arabia.
