Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has died at the age of 78.
According to a statement released by the Ogbeh family on Saturday, the elder statesman passed away peacefully earlier in the day.
Chief Ogbeh, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, served the nation in various capacities, earning a reputation for his dedication to rural development, agriculture, and national service.
The family noted that funeral arrangements will be announced in due course, while requesting privacy as they mourn their loss.
