The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has introduced a new digital portal for processing Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Automated Card (CERPAC) applications. Accessible via https://cerpac.immigration.gov.ng, the platform allows applicants to submit their forms online, aiming to improve transparency, efficiency, and user experience.
This initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s ongoing reforms to modernise the NIS. From 1 August 2025, physical CERPAC forms will no longer be accepted. All applications must be processed exclusively through the new online system. Applicants with paid forms that are yet to be submitted are advised to complete and submit them before 31 July 2025 to retain their application status and payments.
The NIS also calls on individuals and organisations responsible for expatriate immigration matters to finalise any pending applications within the specified period to prevent disruption. Any unsubmitted CERPAC forms after the deadline will automatically become void. For further details or enquiries, the public is encouraged to contact the Public Relations Officer of the Service.
