As the winner of the Edo State gubernatorial election, I extend my warmest and heartfelt congratulations on behalf of Edo Political Forum. I hope your dedication to public service and vision for our state remain evident, and I cherish the trust our citizens have placed in you. Your commitment to public service I hope will be a testament of genuine character and vision for our great state.
I wish you success in your new role and look forward to seeing the positive impact you’ll have on our state and her people.
Furthermore, while your opponents may have lost, I must acknowledge their efforts, perseverance and passion for the future of our state. While their campaigns may have had different visions, they share a common goal of serving Edo State and her citizens.
The last eight years presented challenges that totally eradicated the unity and bond that was prevalent in our state. You will agree it is time to unite our people for the greater good of all. No Nation or sub-National can build progress in the absence of peace. For the sake of our people, it is important to employ all rational to rebuilding peace and harmony in our state.
As we move forward, it’s essential you unite our people as one people, putting aside differences for the greater good. In today’s complex world, unity is not just a virtue but a necessity. By putting aside differences and focusing on shared goals, you can:
• Collaborate to address challenges more effectively and seize on opportunities
• Create opportunities for growth and development
• Enhance the overall well-being of our community
• Build relationships across ideological divides
• Focus on common goals and shared values
• Prioritize the needs and well-being of our citizens
• Foster economic growth and development
• Improve education and healthcare
Our state’s progress shouldn’t be hindered by partisan divisions as displayed in the last eight years. With a united Edo State, you can create a brighter future for her citizens, where every individual can thrive and contribute to our collective success. Thus making our community a beacon of hope and unity. By doing so, you will not only improve the lives of individuals but also enrich the fabric of our society as a whole.
Sincerely,
(Signed)
