Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal have issued a Friday deadline to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to respond to their latest transfer offer, according to Hobnob News Nigeria.
The club, nicknamed The Blue Waves, are reportedly ready to activate the €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract with Napoli and have tabled a €30 million-per-season deal to lure the forward to the Saudi Pro League.
According to transfer expert Ben Jacobs, Al-Hilal remain confident that the Super Eagles star will give a positive response before the deadline.
The former Saudi Pro League champions previously attempted to sign Osimhen in January 2023, but were unsuccessful. The 25-year-old had reportedly agreed personal terms with Al-Ahli during the 2023 summer transfer window, but the deal collapsed after Napoli demanded a higher fee.
Al-Hilal’s renewed interest signals their determination to secure Osimhen’s services ahead of the new season, with hopes that the striker will finally make the switch to the Middle East.
