North Central APC Stakeholders Endorse President Tinubu for Second Term, Pass Vote of Confidence

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the North Central region have formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, citing his transformative leadership and ongoing development strides across the country.

The endorsement was made during the APC North Central Stakeholders meeting held in Abuja, following a motion moved by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, and seconded by the Governor of Niger State, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago.

The stakeholders unanimously passed a vote of confidence on President Tinubu, lauding his administration’s efforts, particularly in the North Central region. They commended key initiatives such as the establishment of the North Central Development Commission and the rollout of forest guard services, which they said directly address regional development and security concerns.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, who also chairs the North Central States Governors Forum, emphasized the region’s unwavering commitment to unity, continuity, and consolidation of progress under the Tinubu-led administration.

“The North Central remains solidly behind President Tinubu,” Governor Sule stated. “Our position is based on the tangible results we are seeing and our desire to build on this foundation.”

APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, also addressed the gathering, affirming that the policies and reforms initiated by the Tinubu administration are already delivering positive outcomes and repositioning Nigeria for sustained growth.

The high-level meeting drew attendance from serving and former governors, deputy governors, ministers, members of the National Assembly, the APC National Working Committee, and other influential party figures from the North Central zone.

According to Bologi Ibrahim, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Niger State, the endorsement is part of ongoing efforts to ensure political stability, electoral continuity, and lasting development across Nigeria.
