Pakistan breached the freshly agreed ceasefire on Saturday by launching artillery shelling and drone operations across several sectors along the International Border and Line of Control (LoC), targeting areas in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
The escalation came just hours after both nations publicly announced a truce. In a coordinated move, the Pakistan Army deployed a swarm of drones into Indian territory, including Srinagar and regions in Rajasthan.
Security sources confirmed that the Border Security Force (BSF) has been instructed to respond with full force to any further violations.
“Swarm of drones targets multiple locations,” a security official noted, calling the move a clear provocation. The breach marks a significant setback in efforts to de-escalate tensions along the volatile border.
